The deadline for entries into the 25th annual Hotel Marketing Association Awards has been extended to 21 February 2020.

Celebrating its 50th anniversary this year, the Hotel Marketing Association (HMA) continues to champion young talent, recognise best practice and reward those delivering outstanding marketing within the UK hotel industry.

Open to branded chain hotels, groups and independent hotels, as well as event venues in some categories, the awards invite entrants to showcase their creative flare, dynamic use of marketing channels, well-planned strategy and measurable results.

Entrants don’t need to be a member of the HMA, and the awards are free to enter.

The categories for the 2020 HMA Awards are:

  • Best Wedding Marketing
  • Best Meetings & Events Marketing
  • Best Restaurant and/or Bar Marketing
  • Best Leisure Marketing (including Spa and Golf Marketing)
  • Young Marketer of the Year
  • Agency Young Marketer of the Year
  • Best Partnership Marketing Campaign

Pamela Carvell, Life President of the Hotel Marketing Association said: “We’re thrilled to be able to shine a light on the incredible marketing talent we have working in our evolving industry. Every year we receive a variety of submissions from small boutique hotels to large branded venues across the country and the standards just keep rising. It has been amazing to see the Hotel Marketing Association Awards go from strength to strength and we look forward to awarding this year’s winners.”

Winners of the 2020 Hotel Marketing Association Awards will be announced at a sparkling reception on 25 March 2020 at the St Pancras Renaissance Hotel, London. This year’s marketing stars will join an esteemed line-up of previous winners, including Amy Pattison from Rockliffe Hall, Faith Skinner from Reprise and teams from The Elvetham, The Montague on the Gardens, The Grove and Hintlesham Hall.
