Dan is the General Manager, EMEA at Student.com, the world’s largest marketplace for student accommodation. An experienced General Manager within the travel and student sectors, Dan has an impressive background as digital commerce professional with a strong focus on leveraging new and emerging technologies to achieve tangible results. Passionate about supporting the industry in which he works, Dan is also a Director at The British Educational Travel Association – an umbrella body representing producers and suppliers of youth, student and educational travel-related products. Dan began his professional career after studying Marketing at The University of West England. In his role at Student.com, Dan holds general management responsibility for the EMEA business, working closely with the teams servicing over 400 cities across the globe, and utilises his knowledge of strategic management and digital expertise.

Chris Kenna – CEO and Co-Founder – Brand Advance

Christ Kenna is CEO and Co-Founder of Brand Advance (BA), a company which connect brands with diverse audiences globally, through Insights, Media and Creative that more authentically engages these communities.

Chris is also the Director of Diversity and Inclusion at OUTvertising, the Advertising industry Lobbying Group and as a mixed-race, out gay father – is a strong advocate for diversity and representation within the Media and Advertising industry. 

Chris is an award-winning entrepreneur having recently received the Innovator of the Year Award at the second annual Ex-Forces in Business Awards and was shortlisted for Chief Executive of the Year at the Inclusive Companies Awards.

 

Yogesh Ram – Head of Growth Marketing – Safe Stay Hostels

Yogesh is currently head of growth marketing at stylish new hostel brand Safestay (https://www.safestay.com/), reinventing the concept of affordable accommodation across Europe. He has led multi-channel digital campaigns driving growth in search traffic, lead generation, brand awareness, social engagement and followers.
