Tom Wright CBE is Group Chief Executive of Age UK. Age UK turns over nearly £400m with its local partners and has 4 divisions: Age UK Charitable activity;  Age International; Age UK Retail, Training and Trading; and Age UK Enterprises providing leading financial services to over 1 million customers.  Tom will talk about the needs and aspirations of the over 65’s, about the how hospitality industry should approach marketing to this segment, increasing your visibility and engagement and whether digital or traditional media is best.

Arnold Fewell has won the Group Marketing Catey twice in four years and was also the Special Catey Award winner in 2012.  Arnold is a former Hotel General Manager and is now a permanent wheelchair user, so he sees both sides of the discussion on accessibility in hotels.  He is going to talk about: the size and value of the market; preparing your service for disabled guests; adapting low cost solutions that will help you deliver great customer service; and the best ways of approaching this fragmented market.

Our host for the evening is One Great George Street that has made extensive adaptions to the Grade 2 listed building and is winner of the 2013 Accessible Catey Award.  Anna Glazebrook has been with the venue for over five years and heads up and manages all areas of traditional and digital marketing so ideally placed to share her tips and experience on how to approach this market, how to increase visibility, relevance and engagement and how the venue won the bid to host the International Media Centre for London 2012.

Whether or not your company has a focus on these segments in your marketing plans for 2014 every marketer should know about the opportunities and challenges it presents and take this opportunity to hear from leading speakers on this area.
