Who can enter?
Any UK-based hotel, accommodation-provider, conference centre, restaurant or wedding venue. A chain or consortium of any of these. Or an agency representing any of these.
What marketing activities are relevant?
The target market for weddings is very specific and can be reached through relevant and profiled media & channels. As such, any marketing aimed at someone who is planning their wedding is relevant. This may include some form of partnership marketing, wedding-specific events and media, a wedding-specific website, Social Media Marketing, advertising and brochures.
What the judges will be looking for?
Creativity and execution that is in keeping with the brand image of the venue and stands out in a crowded marketplace. Accurate targeting and reach of brides-to-be. Demonstration of awareness of the latest trends in this market. Bookings-based results.

- TARGET MARKETS
- SUMMARY OF APPROACH TAKEN
- STATEMENT AS TO WHY YOU BELIEVE YOUR ENTRY IS A WORTHY WINNER
- LINKS TO CREATIVE MATERIALS E.G WEB PAGES, PDF’S etc
You will be required to submit details of the marketer who created the campaign, the agency that implemented it and the senior decision-maker eg marketing Director, Managing Director, hotel owner.

By entering the awards you are giving permission for any submitted creative materials to potentially feature on the HMA website, as part of the audio-visual presentation at the awards ceremony or in a leaflet. We will however never use any statistics without your prior explicit permission.
If an entry has been shortlisted for an award, we will make contact with the person who submitted the entry by mid-March 2019
