Who can enter?
Any UK-based hotel, accommodation-provider, restaurant with rooms, hotel-based spa and hotel-based golf course. A chain or consortium of any of these. Or an agency representing any of these.
What marketing activities are relevant?
Any marketing activities aimed at generating leisure business, regardless of whether this is a hotel attracting leisure guests, marketing aimed at the golfer or Spa Marketing in its broadest sense. This could be a year-round activity, a website, a social media campaign, a series of tactical promotions, a PR campaign, activities to drive membership, a one-off event or a fully integrated campaign for the leisure market.
What the judges will be looking for?
Leisure marketing is all about the experience and judges will be looking for a full understanding of this concept, with a highly creative execution and possibly innovative experiential products & services.

You will be required to submit information under the following headings:
- MARKETING OBJECTIVES
- TARGET MARKETS
- SUMMARY OF APPROACH TAKEN
- STATEMENT AS TO WHY YOU BELIEVE YOUR ENTRY IS A WORTHY WINNER
- LINKS TO CREATIVE MATERIALS E.G WEB PAGES, PDF’S etc
You will be required to submit details of the marketer who created the campaign, the agency that implemented it and the senior decision-maker eg marketing Director, Managing Director, hotel owner.

By entering the awards you are giving permission for any submitted creative materials to potentially feature on the HMA website, as part of the audio-visual presentation at the awards ceremony or in a leaflet. We will however never use any statistics without your prior explicit permission.
If an entry has been shortlisted for an award, we will make contact with the person who submitted the entry by mid-March 2019
