Who can enter?
Any UK-based hotel, accommodation-provider, conference centre, restaurant with rooms or events venue. A chain or consortium of any of these. Or an agency representing any of these.
What marketing activities are relevant?
This may be a one-off campaign, an integrated approach across the whole M&E sector or marketing activities aimed at one segment of this lucrative and diverse market.
What the judges will be looking for?
The Strategy & Objectives should be very specific, as should the marketing execution. The selection of media channels should be directly relevant to the target market and segment. The creative approach should stand out. The Marketing should demonstrate a clear understanding of the needs of M&E bookers. Results will be assessed both against objectives as well as against similar competitors.

You will be required to submit information under the following headings:
- MARKETING OBJECTIVES
- TARGET MARKETS
- SUMMARY OF APPROACH TAKEN
- STATEMENT AS TO WHY YOU BELIEVE YOUR ENTRY IS A WORTHY WINNER
- LINKS TO CREATIVE MATERIALS E.G WEB PAGES, PDF’S etc
You will be required to submit details of the marketer who created the campaign, the agency that implemented it and the senior decision-maker eg marketing Director, Managing Director, hotel owner.

By entering the awards you are giving permission for any submitted creative materials to potentially feature on the HMA website, as part of the audio-visual presentation at the awards ceremony or in a leaflet. We will however never use any statistics without your prior explicit permission.
If an entry has been shortlisted for an award, we will make contact with the person who submitted the entry by mid-March 2020
